1. Αre there any age restrictions when renting a car with EFV?

The driver’s minimum age is specified in the rental agreement for each vehicle. Different car models have their own age restrictions. If you are under 23 years old, you will be required to pay for the “young driver” service.

What are your company’s driver’s license requirements for renting a car?

You are recommended to have an International Driver’s License along with your local driver’s license.

Am I allowed to choose any extra equipment during the reservation?

Yes, you have to reserve your desired extra equipment, such as GPS, child seats etc., during your reservation FREE of charge.

Can I choose a certain car model and color from the car groups displayed on your website?

Yes, of course. You can choose a certain car model and color of your preferences upon arrival. Before reserving a car with us, please view the list with our available car models and colors in the “fleet” section.

What types of cars do you offer?

We offer the following car types: Economy Cars, Compact Cars, Full-size (4-5 door) Cars, Mini-van (5&12 passengers).

When selecting a model, what does “or similar” mean?

“Similar” means that our rental company may provide you with a vehicle of the same capacity and similar size in case of non-availability of the car you have chosen.

Are there only English-speaking employees at your rental company?

No, our employees can communicate with customers in Greek, English, German and Italian.

Am I allowed to drive a car rental outside the country or drop it off in another city?

No, either border crossing or driving our car rentals outside Kefalonia is strictly prohibited. Moreover, you are not allowed to drop our car rentals off in another city apart from Kefalonia.

Are there any discounts if I rent more than one car with your company?

Since we do offer the most competitive rates in the market, a further discount may not be possible. However, you can read our “discounts & coupons” section and find the best deal for you or contact us for detailed information.

Which cards do you accept for the payment of car rentals?

You can use credit and debit cards such as VISA, MasterCard and American Express. A card owned by the driver will be required at the time of receiving the car.

Can I pay with PayPal or Bank Transfer?

Yes, both payment methods are acceptable. You are required to have a credit card upon delivery of the car rental. In case of Bank Transfer you should contact us for the account details.

Can I pay in cash upon arrival?

Yes, you can pay in cash upon arrival. You are required to have a credit card upon delivery of the car rental.

Is it possible to cross the border with the rented car?

You are allow to visit all villages of Kefalonia. Don't worry Terms and Conditions "T&C" specify this information for you. If the selected offer doesn't mention the Island that you wish to visit, then please contact us.

Do I have to pay a one-way fee - and if so, how much is it?

All one way charges (if applicable) are always calculated and included in the rate you see on the website after selecting your preferred pick up and drop off location.

Can I change my reservation?

Yes, you can make changes through the form. If you wish to change rental dates or vehicle class, then you are required to cancel your current booking and make a new one.

What happens if I have paid for the reservation and have not received any voucher yet?

Possible reasons may be:

  • Incorrect email address (you should contact us for assistance).
  • Selection of an “under inquiry” car (contact us for availability).

Are there any extra charges in case of cancellation?

Cancellation is offered for free in most offers. Please read the cancellation policy being included in the rental terms or contact us.

What happens in case of a flight delay?

Some slight delay is understandable. You should inform us about the number of your flight so that we can deliver your car even in case of a flight delay.

What documents am I required to bring with upon delivery?

You must have your driver’s license, a credit card and your voucher.

Can I receive my car at the airport?

Yes, this is a 24/7 service. A staff member of our company will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall holding a card bearing your name. Your car will be at the Airport Car Park.

What is your policy concerning early or late return of car rentals?

There is not any refund in case of early return of car rentals. For late return of car rentals there may be extra charges and penalties. Generally, there are no extra charges for delayed returns of an hour.

Is a relative or friend allowed to receive my own car rental?

No, only the renter or the additional driver, being explicitly stated in the contract, is allowed to receive a car rental.

Do I have to pay for additional drivers?

The cost for the additional driver is already included in the final price of your rental, as long as you have added the additional driver while placing your reservation.

Can I receive a vehicle during the off-hours?

Yes, you can. Note that our car hire company will charge additional fees during the off-hours.

Can I return a vehicle at the airport?

Yes. You are kindly requested to bring the car rental at the airport car park belonging to our company.

Can I extend the rental period?

Yes, but you should contact us for extending your rental period.

Does your company pay for any fines received by the renter?

You should be aware of Greek regulations and laws. Any fines deriving from the violation of the Greek law are paid by the renter.

What am I obliged to do in case of accident or breakdown?

In case of breakdown you need to contact our local office as soon as possible. In case of an accident, you are required to report the accident to the police and keep contact information and necessary documents of the other party involving in the accident. When returning the car, you will need to fill out an incident report.

Theft Protection (TP)

Fire Protection (FP)

Is included in the booking cost, in the case of Fire, you must contact the police and report the incident immediately.

Roadside Assistance

Is included in prices and it covers 24/7 hour roadside assistance.

Important Notice

All Insurance cover becomes invalid when any persons are found to be driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, will fully causing damage, off- road driving and driving in a careless and negligent manner.

Breakdown/ Accident

In the event of a breakdown or accident you must contact with our emergency call center immediately for instructions and assistance. It is highly recommended to call the police even for the smallest of damages. All related documentation must be kept if an insurance claim is submitted.

Vat, Municipality Taxes

Included in all rates, extra services or products.

Claims

Any possible claim should be stated to info@enjoyforvacations.com the latest in 20 days time after the end of the rental. The full written description of the problem is required.

Reservations
All reservations are based on a vehicle category and not a certain car model. In case of no availability for a confirmed reservation, Cars2go reserves the right to offer a vehicle of bigger category to the customer with no extra charge.

Minimum rental charge
The minimum rental charge is 1 day.

Driver
Minimum age is 21 years of age for car categories A, B, C.Minimum age limit 23 years for car categories
D,F,G,G1,J1,N,R,S,I,J,JA,K,L,O,P,Q,U,O1,Q1,U1,G1,I,J,JA,K,L,O,P,Q,U,O1,Q1,U1,G1,H,M,T,V,W,W1,W2,H1,V1,XC, Maximum age rate 70 years old for all car categories.

Drivers’ License
The Driver is required to have and display a valid Drivers’ License issued at least a year ago. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international Drivers’ License along with their regular Drivers’ License.

Traffic Violations – Fines
Traffic violations and fines are bored by the Renter. You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties incurred whilst the Vehicle is on rent to you.

After Hours Deliveries – Collections
Out of Hours Fee – you will only be charged if you want to book your rental outside the office opening hours.

Additional Driver
The First Additional Driver is Free of Charge, the second is 3€/day* GPS: The extra charge for GPS is 5€/day Child Seat: The First Child / Baby seat is Free of Charge, the second is 3€/day*.

Snow Chains
The charge for Snow Chains is at 10€/day Cash payment is acceptable.

Fuel
The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. In the case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, Cars2go will be charged with the fuel difference.

Accident
In case of an Accident the Renter is obliged to inform Cars2go as well as the police to present the Police Accident Report to the station upon return of the vehicle to the station.

Ferrying & Border Restrictions
Vehicles are not permitted to be taken out of the island of Corfu and the Greek borders.

Road Assistance
Cars2go are covered with 24/7 Road Assistance. Contact details will be provided to you at the station.

Vehicle Condition
You must return the vehicle in the same condition as it was in when you received it, minus the normal wear and tear.

Vehicle Group/Model
The make and model of the car displayed are only guaranteed if it is clearly stated so in the offer. Generally, the particular car displayed on the voucher is for reference only and the Cars2go reserves the right to substitute it for an alternative, similar or upgraded car. If the vehicle on your voucher becomes unavailable at the time of booking due to a breakdown or an accident, Cars2go will provide you with a similar or upgraded vehicle.

Extra service fees
If you wish to use special services that may be offered by the Cars2go, such as delivering the rental vehicle to a location of your choice, additional charges normally apply.

Collection Time
Your vehicle will only be held available for up to one hours after the agreed collection time, you must contact us if you will arrive after this time.

Number Of Passengers
All vehicles are insured for the appropriate maximum number of passengers. Please ensure that you choose a vehicle suitable for the size of your party.
